Make sure machine is on (window & door are closed + "Reset" button has been pressed)

1. Press C

2. PressChange Tool (= number 1 key) - wait until the machine stops moving

   

3. Open window

   

4. Gather necessary tools: Nut/Mutter (A), Collet/Spennhyls (B), Milling bit/Fresestål (C), Spanners/Nøkler (D) & Tiny ruler (E)

   

5. Insert Collet (B) into Nut (A) from the backside. Make sure the bottom is almost flush like this:

   

6. Screw the Collet with Nut onto the spindle of the machine. Use one hand to hold the spindle in position and the other to screw - doesn’t need to be tight otherwise the milling bit won’t fit

   

7. Insert milling bit - Make sure the bit sticks out long enough (= thickness of material + 2 mm or more AND don’t tighten on the blade of the bit). You can use the tiny ruler to check how much it’s sticking out

   

8. Tighten using the spanners/nøkler

   

9. Pull back bridge (→ see Calibrating the bridge)

10. Close window & Turn on machine (→ see Turning on machine)
