Prusa reboots when trying to start hot end or bed heating
The leds are also flashing while the machine is on
What I’ve tried:
- Disconnecting the led’s - Didn’t do anything
- Reflashed the software as suggested here - Didn’t help
- Talked to Prusa helpdesk. We’re removing cables step by step for troubleshooting.

Disconnected a few cables based on this image

Did another test, still same problem

Next step as suggested by prusa is this, which I didn’t get time to test:
Suspected issues to be tested:
- There’s a short circuit somewhere. Although this sounds unlikely since it happens both when the bed and he hot end tries to warm up
- The capacitors of the CPU are half dead and any kind of significant load causes voltage fluctuation as suggested here. This theory could be tested by trying to hook up the CPU of another printer to this one
